Print Future’s Award success for Jordan

Posted on: Monday, June 8th, 2020

Arden Engraving is celebrating another success story amongst our workforce after a member of the team was selected for a prestigious Print Futures Award.

Jordan Saunders, our Assistant Production Manager, is one of the recipients of the coveted 2020 Print Futures Awards, which aim to support the next generation of talent in the industry.

The Print Futures Awards, organised by the Printing Charity, offer grants to fund training courses to help support the personal and workplace development of young people working in the UK printing, packaging, paper, publishing and graphic arts sectors.

The Awards are open to people aged 18-30 and aim to champion the diverse range of roles the sector offers and showcase emerging talent.

Jordan, aged 27, has been part of the Arden Engraving team for five years and his role encompasses sales administration, production management and customer service.

As part of his Print Futures Award, he’ll be taking part in a BPIF Management Training course, and an intensive masterclass in Adobe Illustrator.

Jordan said: “I’m really pleased to be chosen to receive a Print Futures Award and take part in training programmes that will really support me in my current role at Arden and in my future development.

“I’m hoping the training courses I’ve chosen will help with reviewing and modifying customers’ files as well as in areas of continual development in the future.

“The BPIF Management Training Course in particular will look at areas specific to our industry and that’s what really drew me in. I’m very grateful for the opportunity and I’m really looking forward to getting started.”
